Aesthetic Workspace
Thousands of upvotes on Reddit later, I’ve learned what workspaces Notioners think are the most aesthetic.
Today, you’ll learn 5 hacks I use to beautify my workspaces.
Multi-column Databases
Normally, if you drag a block to the right of another block, two columns appear.
However, you can’t do this with databases.
Instead, you have to first create two columns with normal blocks, then drag the respective databases you want underneath them.
Beautiful.
Notion Icons
Normal emoji icons are nice, but if you want to go for a more modern and minimalist vibe, use a monochrome icon.
My favorite icons are from Super.so, and I’ve also used Notion.VIP.
Database Views
Don’t use a table for everything.
Obviously make sure you're opting for functionality, but when it makes sense try to put multiple Notion database views next to each other.
The added visual complexity really takes your workspace to another level.
Indify Widgets
Clocks, weather dashboards, you name it Indify’s got it.
Not only are the widgets informational, but they add that extra spice to your workspace.
Virtually every top Notion Reddit workspace post has used Indify.
It’s so simple and intuitive to use, you can just click here and start.
Background Color
When creating titles for each section of your workspace, a background color can completely overhaul the aesthetics.
Whether it be a fun red vibe
or a serious monochrome vibe,
your workspace receives an entirely different aura.
